January 2020 Turkey's transfer tax increases from 3% to 4%


July 2020 Turkish passport naturalization name change requirements become stricter, name changes cannot be changed to an English name;


November 2020 Turkish passport naturalization age requirements become strict, children not approved before the age of 18 years old need to fill in the information and delay approval;


December 2020 Turkish passport naturalization data review becomes more stringent, marriage certificate documents required to be issued by the government of the country of citizenship


March 2021 Turkish motion: the same naturalized property can not be naturalized again after three years; repurchase of the financing type of property will be newly assessed

In October 2023, the approval of minor children was made stricter, requiring that the children be under the age of 18 at the time their naturalization was approved;


In November 2023, the main applicant will be required to provide a certificate of non-criminalization issued within the last six months before submitting a residence application.
